Standard PrizePicks payouts
These are PrizePicks' standard multipliers on a regular lineup, with no Goblins or Demons. A Power Play needs every pick to hit. A Flex Play still pays with one miss, and on 6 picks with two.
| Picks | Power | Flex |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 3x | Not offered |
| 3 | 6x | 3/3: 3x · 2/3: 1x |
| 4 | 10x | 4/4: 6x · 3/4: 1.5x |
| 5 | 20x | 5/5: 10x · 4/5: 2x |
| 6 | 37.5x | 6/6: 25x · 5/6: 2x · 4/6: 0.4x |
PrizePicks can change payouts, and they differ in some states. The multiplier your app shows before you submit is the one that counts.
Break-even hit rate for every lineup
The break-even rate is how often each pick has to hit, on average, for a lineup to pay back what it costs over many entries. Below it you lose money in the long run; above it you make some. A coin flip is 50%, which is why 50/50 guesses lose on every lineup.
| Lineup | Top payout | Break-even per pick |
|---|---|---|
| 2-pick Power | 3x | 57.7% |
| 3-pick Power | 6x | 55.0% |
| 4-pick Power | 10x | 56.2% |
| 5-pick Power | 20x | 54.9% |
| 6-pick Power | 37.5x | 54.7% |
| 3-pick Flex | 3x | 57.7% |
| 4-pick Flex | 6x | 55.0% |
| 5-pick Flex | 10x | 56.2% |
| 6-pick Flex | 25x | 54.2% |
The 6-pick Flex asks the least of each pick at 54.2%. Longer lineups pay more but put more picks at risk, so the break-even barely moves while the swings get much bigger. The Power vs Flex guide goes through when each one is the better entry.
What a void does to your payout
When a player doesn't play, or lands exactly on a whole-number line, the pick is voided. It drops out and the entry pays as the next smaller lineup. A 6-pick Power at 37.5x with one void becomes a 5-pick Power at 20x; it doesn't lose. A Flex that falls below 3 live picks plays as a Power, and an entry with fewer than 2 live picks is refunded. Set the voided picks above to see it on your lineup, or read how PrizePicks grades a DNP.
Goblins and Demons
A Goblin is a lower, easier line that pays less; a Demon is a higher, harder line that pays more. PrizePicks sets the multiplier for each lineup that has them, so there's no fixed table. Tick the box above, type in the multipliers your app shows, and the calculator works out the break-even rate for that exact lineup. The Goblins and Demons guide covers how to tell if one is worth it.
Knowing your hit rate
The calculator needs one honest number: how often your picks hit. SZN Lab shows it for every prop on the board, his games this season and his last 20 graded against the line, what the defense allows to his position, and DraftKings' price at the same line.
